Summary: The Buyer Clerk will support a specific buying division with administrative and clerical work related to the buying function. Duties and Responsibilities: • Communicate verbally and electronically with vendors. • Create Purchase Orders and perform data entry. • Setup and maintain SKU’s. • Setup vendors and handle associated communications. • Support buyers with their tasks and functions. • Abide to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy. • Ensure compliance with internal controls as applicable to your function within the organization. Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required: • A.A. degree preferred • 1-2 years of experience in merchandising • Knowledge of retail math • Ability to multi-task • Customer service, retail or manufacturing experience Hourly Rate: $18.26 – $21.15
